This one was on our doorstep. Mytchett is where we’re based, so the van was five minutes away for the whole job — which matters more than it sounds. Short site visits are easy to fit in, so questions get answered the same day rather than the next time someone happens to be passing.

The first two photographs were taken when we came out to look at the property, before anything started. The rest are the finished extension, photographed in August 2025, with a couple of progress shots from earlier in the year in between.

Extensions are the projects where using one contractor pays off most. The building, the electrics and the plumbing were all handled by our own team, so nobody was waiting on a subcontractor’s diary to get to the next stage, and there was one person to ring when the client had a question.
